This was the first year that one of the Midwest's largest horse expo's, MIDWEST HORSE EXPO in Madison, WI held a cow horse competition for their main event Saturday night. They took the top 9 cow horse rider/horse combinations (based on the Equistat earnings) in the US to compete for a purse totaling over $14,000. There was not a bad run the whole night. This event drew competitors from Oklahoma, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, Missouri, and more.
